Ms. Sunalini Menon, the board member of CQI also a head judge of the Cross-strait Cup, and Mr. Shu Yang, CEO of Yunnan International Coffee Exchange (YCE) led the guests to visit CH Biotech in Taiwan for the first time. It’s a great challenge for us to organize this huge event, because there are so many paper works to handle in advance such as immigration procedures, competition schedule, cupping rules, reception etc. Fortunately, we managed to overcome all the difficulties, guests and hosts were all happy about that.

Appreciation for the head judge Ms. Sunalini Menon:
Leading a 15–member jury for the fair and impartial judgment of the competition, her fantastic speech of “Global Trends In Coffee Quality” for the coffee forum, and her encouraging comment on the coffee quality of both Yunnan and Taiwan.
The Yunnan coffee production has exceeded 130,000 tons, and the scale, output, varieties and sales model are quite different from Taiwan. The CH Biotech Coffee Research Center has contributed to the effect of knowing our own strength and friend’s through the Cross-Strait cup in-deep interaction. Although the Taiwanese geisha planted by TsouTribe Farm, Song Yue Farm and Zhuo Wu Mountain Farm won the top 5 prizes in the Cross-Strait cup, the catimor of Yunnan Zebra Estate got a high score of over 85 points and won the "Head Judge Special Award ". The flavor potential of Yunnan coffee has greatly surprised Taiwanese coffee lovers.
The purpose of the Cross-Strait Cup is not to win, but to learn from each other, promote each other, win together, and create common good. Your sense of achievement will be much stronger by sharing your experience, and lead a group of people to the road to success, instead of reaching success alone. By this way, our life will be more fulfilled. This is the purpose CH Biotech Coffee Research Center to hold the Cross-Strait Cup!
